Restoring a Movie Poster – The Raven

In this example we had numerous acid burns resulting from masking tape which had been used to repair small tears along the margin. We had to remove the stains using a solvent and then re-match the color of the margins with watercolors. Fortunately the image itself was fine and needed nothing.
