Poster Frames Options and Prices

We provide framing services to our clients in the Houston and neighboring towns of Texas and pride ourselves in working with you to select frames that work for your decor and budget. If you purchase a poster from us you eligible for an immediate discount of up to 10% on the frame and the poster as well!

We use only premium hard wood frames and UV protected museum quality Acrylic. We prefer Acrylic for considerations of weight and safety when handling, some of the posters we frame are almost seven feet tall!.  Occasionally we use conservation glass but for our Texas climate it is important that posters be stored and hung in an air conditioned environment and preferably away from direct sunlight. Even though we only use UV protected Acrylic the manufacturers cannot guarantee 100% protection over time. Also please remember not to use ammonia based cleaners on Acrylic, plastic cleaners are recommended.

For a 1 sheet frame to accommodate a linen backed poster such as the one pictured here on the left (28 inches x 42 inches) we charge $275. For an insert or half sheet poster we use a 1″ molding and often add a mat and charge $175.

For the much larger 3 sheets (43 inches x 83 inches) or French 2 panel posters our framing costs are $375 and we use a heavier 3″ inch molding with bracing at the rear  to provide greater structural integrity. For the Luis Vuitton Razzia example we used spacers to set the poster back in the frame for a more contemporary look and mounted the linen backed poster on stiff gator board to stop the poster from sagging in the middle.
