WILD HORSE CANYON, 1938. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 89 x 135 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Jack Randall, Dorothy Short and Rusty the Wonder Horse! Directed by Robert Hill during the heyday of the Western Movie Jack Randall plays the role of a hired hand cowboy looking for the killer of his brother. This superb and vividly colored folded poster is in very good original C7 condition for its age and was printed like so many posters of this decade using stone lithography. The stampeding horses set amid a dry western desert would make an attractive piece of artwork for a cabin, lodge or southwestern styled home.
This rare poster does have slight cross fold line parting and would require linen backing to flatten the fold lines followed by some light retouching to the colors. Add linen backing to your shopping basket to correct these issues for an additional $80.
