24 HEURES DU MANS, 1964. Original Motor Racing Advertising poster for the 1967 French Le Mans 24 hour endurance race (16 x 24” / 52 x 78 cm). This poster was printed for the 36th annual event of the race held between June 10th and June 11th at the famous Le Mans racetrack in France. This poster depicts a Ferrari 275 and a Ferrari Dino set up in the traditional starting grid pattern that was to be subsequently discontinued in 1969. Long considered one of the most exciting races in motor racing history the race culminated in the second win for Carroll Shelby’s Ford GT40 Mark IV with and Ferrari picking up 2nd and 3rd places.
Originally rolled with pin holes in the corners and now linen backed this poster is in very fine condition, and an ideal choice classic car fans!
