GODZILLA VS. THE THING, 1964. Original Theatrical US 1 sheet (27″/41″) movie poster starring; director Ishiro Honda
This film was originally released in Japan and was more accurately titled Mosura tai gojira a.k.a. Godzilla vs. Mothra, but the title was altered for American audiences due to marketing reasons. This is largely consdered to be one of the best 80s Godzilla films. The artwork to this particular poster is fantastic, creative and extremely typical for sci-fi posters of the 50s and 60s!
This poster is in fine condition showing a stain on the upper left corner and 1 slight 1 – 2 mm tear on the bottom left margin. The colors are vibrant and outside of these two blemishes (that can be repaired during the linen backing process) the paper is still youthful. Keep in mind, this poster is a very rare and hard to find piece!
