WALT DISNEY’S BAMBI, 1942. Original British Quad (30 x 40” / 98 x 131 cm) rolled Movie Poster produced by Walt Disney for their 1985 re-release of the movie to theaters. Made during the middle of WW2 and following Snow White, Pinocchio and the recent success of Dumbo this cartoon must have provided some relief to world weary families. Although initially disappointing box office returns the film went on to become one of the true classics of Disney studios. The film is a coming of age story about a fawn living in the forest and was the first of Disney’s cartoons to feature an all animal cast.
This rolled poster is in excellent original C9 condition and has adorable and colorful graphics. Interior Decorators will love this poster for a kids room. Although rolled and in near perfect condition we still recommend linen backing this poster to flatten the wrinkles and waves and prepare it correctly for future framing.
