CARRY ON! BUY LIBERTY BONDS TO YOUR UTMSOST, 1918. Original 3 Sheet (41 x 81” / 89 x 104 cm) Linen Backed Liberty Bonds poster designed by American artist Edwin Howland Blashfield (1848 – 1936) in 1918. This stunning poster was acquired from WW1 veteran and poster collector Colonel Edward McCrahon who fought alongside the French prior to the US involvement in the war. At the end of the war and into the early 1930’s he assembled an international collection second to none which went on display in New York and other cities. His estate was auctioned off in 2015 and this rare 3 sheet poster depicting Lady Liberty leading the allies to victory was from this collection.

This poster which was printed in two panels was in fine C9 condition prior to linen backing and has no condition issues to speak of. To see this poster please come to our gallery in Katy, Texas.
