DUMBO, Original Vintage Walt Disney Movie Poster

dumbo-5443lbDUMBO, 1941. Original British Quad (30 x 40” / 98 x 131 cm) Linen Backed Movie Poster produced by Walt Disney. This endearing and paradoxically sad family cartoons was reputedly Disney’s favorite cartoon and tells the deceptively simple story of a circus elephant ridiculed because of his large ears and separated from his mother who tries to protect him and is rewarded by being holed up in a cage. Filmed during the early years of WWII the movie went on to be an Oscar winner and an eternal favorite among young and old. This version of the poster was released for the 1971 re-release of the movie to UK audiences.

This originally  folded poster was in good original C7 condition prior to linen backing and suffered from fold line separation in the upper left corner. The poster has been linen backed and restored to its present condition which is ready to hang or frame!
