GOBLIN , 2013. Original Music Poster (13 x 18” / 33 x 46 cm) for the Italian, progressive rock band Goblin, This commemorative poster promoted their 2013 USA Concert Tour with the band Zombi and features the head of a ghoulish, red, eye less woman. The poster lists the towns for their tour and is signed by members of the band.
Goblin formed in the mid 1970’s and experimented with with film scores usually for horror movies. They wrote the soundtracks for Dario Argento’s movie Suspiria and George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead amongst others and their concert posters are usually eye-catching and flirting with similar dark art and horror related themes.
This limited edition poster is numbered 535/666 and is signed by four members of the band; Massimo Morante, Maurizio Guarini, Fabio Pignatelli and Agostino Marangolo.
