GOBLIN , 2013. Original Music Poster (13 x 18” / 33 x 46cm) for the Italian, progressive rock band Goblin with back up band Secret Chiefs 3, This event poster promoted their 2013 stop at the Crofoot in Pontiac Michigan and features a hand using a straight back razor to shaving eyelashes from a man’s eyes.
Goblin formed in the mid 1970’s and experimented with with film scores usually for horror movies. They wrote the soundtracks for Dario Argento’s movie Suspiria and George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead amongst others and their concert posters are usually eye-catching and flirting with similar dark art and horror related themes.
