The Int’l 1 sheet also known as the “Montage Style” contains arguably the most sought after artwork for this film. The artwork done by artist Mike Vaughan displays a montage of just about all the best elements from this film; from the heart wrenching (no pun intended) evil doer Mola Ram, to the comic relief character Short Round, to the epic cable bridge scene with Indy fending off attackers with a sword and whip from both sides! Its hardly a wonder why this poster is sought after; it beautifully evokes the best parts of this ground breaking trilogy.
The Indiana Jones films need little introduction, as Ford’s career shaping role as the dashing, thrill seeking, tomb raiding Archaeologist was monumental to the film industry and helped to shape more than one generation of children. This would be a fine piece displayed in any game or media room!
This particular Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom folded Int’l “Montage style” 1 sheet movie poster used for theaters in Australia is in just about mint condition except for a less than 1″ tear on the top horizontal margin which would literally vanish following Linen Backing. This minor imperfection and the slightest fold line wear is all that detracts from this otherwise pristine movie poster.
