Keep Him Free 5752KEEP HIM FREE, 1918. Original WW1 (20 x 30” / 66 x 98 cm) rolled WW1 Poster. A favorite poster designed by Charles Livingston Bull (1874-1932) to encourage the general public to buy savings stamps to contribute for the war effort. In this design, one of the most famous and popular images of WW1, a giant eagle looks down on a dogfight between biplanes of both sides taking place over his nest that symbolizes home. Issued by the the United States Treasury Department.

This poster was rolled and is now linen backed. The poster was in good C7 prior to linen backing and has received a minor amount of restoration in the lower left corner. The image is clean though there is some light to moderate wear along the margins.
