MILDRED PIERCE 1945. Original Insert (14” x 36” / 46 x 118 cm) folded insert movie poster starring Joan Crawford, Jack Carson, and Zachary Scott. Directed by Michael Curtiz and produced by Jerry Wald. “The kind of woman most men want- BUT SHOULDN’T HAVE! That’s.. Mildred Pierce.” When the second husband of Mildred Pierce is found murdered, her first husband is suspected as the killer. He is interrogated, and confesses to the crime despite  Mildred’s insistence that he is too kind-hearted to do such a thing. The movie is a flashback to her life story, as she reveals it to the investigating police officer. Joan Crawford won an Academy Award for her role in this film noir crime drama, the first picture she shot for Warner Bros.

This poster is in good C7 condition with vivid maroon and red coloring. The top fold line is visible, with paper folding along the crease. The bottom fold line is fairly visible. Some crinkling throughout the tops and bottom of the poster. There is tape staining on the top and top-right side of the poster. Linen Backing is available for this poster for an additional $60 and this will address these issues as well.
