N THE WEST, 1968. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 89 x 104 cm) Linen Backed Movie Poster starring Claudia Cardinale, Henry Fonda, Jason Robards, Charles Bronson, and Gabriele Ferzetti and directed by Sergio Leone. This poster was used for the 1980 re-release of the movie and is almost identical to the first release poster used in 1968 with the only difference being the NSS information at the bottom right of the poster. In this epic Sergio Leone Western, a story about revenge becomes an epic contemplation of the western past. A crippled railroad baron, Morton, hires killers to wipe out the property owner and his family – but the owner’s new bride, Jill, inherits the property instead. A mysterious stranger and desperado join together to protect this beautiful woman from the ruthless assassin working for the railroad. “There were three men in her life. One to take her…one to love her–and one to kill her.”
This poster was in near mint C9 condition prior to linen backing and has no condition issues.
