Original antique vintage 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 56 x 71 cm) movie theater poster starring; Jack Buetel, Thomas Mitchell, Jane Russell directors Howard Hughes, Howard Hawks and screenplay by Jules Furthman. This Movie theater feature film is probably best remembered for the remarkably beautiful and seductive Jane Russell. She was fiery on the screen and wore a dress that didn’t leave much to the imagination; imagine what it must have been like to see this film back in the 40s! The acting is not the best and neither is the score, however this antique and very vintage movie poster has incredibly attractive artwork featuring an erotically painted image of Jane Russell! If you like the Western characters Pat Garrett, Doc Holliday and Billy the Kid you will like this film.
This original antique vintage theater poster is in fair to good condition and has seen better days. While the artwork is actually still vibrant there are major imperfections to this poster that must be repaired after being Linen backed and carefully restored. Major imperfections include; the top horizontal cross fold which is torn in multiple places and there is 2 inches of missing paper on the right side. the other fold lines are worn but not nearly as bad. Following linen backing and restoration this poster will take a remarkable increase in condition grading. The artwork is still clean and after paper repair it should be between a C6 to C7 condition.
