We think this poster commemorated the athletic victories of Vladimir Kuts and Lyubov Kozyreva from both the Summer and Winter Olympics of 1956. The Soviet Union had just invaded Hungary and their propaganda apparatus was at full swing during the height of the Cold War. This poster was in good C8 condition and has been linen backed.
