Miller. Set in Sherwood Forest, England Robin Hood With his band of Merry Men, “He robs from the rich, gives to the poor”! This was the second adaptation of the book to movie and is still widely considered to be the most effective and among the finest acting roles for Errol Flynn. We think this poster dates from the 1956 re-release of the movie judging from the duotone coloration though we cannot be sure.
This scarce poster is in good condition with some pronounced fold lines throughout and with some loss of color as well as a small hole directly in the crossfold. There are also pinholes creasing along the margin. This is a good candidate for linen backing especially when considering the rarity of the poster.
