Good the Bad and the Ugly, 1968. Original French Medium Format Movie Poster 23 x 31” (71 x 105cm) for the 1970’s re-release to French audiences. starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach. Musical score by Ennio Morricone and directed by Italian director Sergio Leone this film soon became a western legend and was certainly the best of the so called spaghetti westerns! So much atmosphere you can feel the flies buzzing around while the anticipation grips the viewer. This version of the poster is identified as the 70’s re-release by the printers mark appearing vertically in the lower left margin. On the first release the printers name is appears horizontally just left of the civil war inset.
This poster was folded prior to linen backing and is now ready to frame.
