THE HUSTLER, 1961. Original One Sheet (27 x 41”), (89 x 125 cm) originally folded and now linen backed movie poster starring Paul Newman, George C. Scott, Piper Laurie and Jackie Gleason. Directed by Robert Rossen this movie quickly became a classic and the go to movie for pool-hall fanatics and gamblers alike. This specific poster was created for the re-release in 1964. “They called him ‘Fast Eddie'”.
This poster was originally folded with some areas along the margin that needed to be patched: the upper left edge, bottom edge near the fold line, and the bottom right corner of the margin. There is also toning all along the edges of the poster. It is now linen backed and in great condition.
