SWAMP THING, 1982. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Louis Jourdan, Adrienne Barbeau, and Ray Wise. Written and directed by Wes Craven. Based on the character created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson for DC Comics. “Science Transformed him into a Monster. Love Changed him Even More!” Dr. Alec Holland is a young scientist who is trying to create a resilient human/plant hybrid species, but becomes the victim of sabotage when a rival scientist-turned-villain sets out to destroy his lab. While attempting to escape, Holland inadvertently spills his highly flammable secret formula all over him and catches on fire. He dives into the water to extinguish the flames, but rises from the water as the Swamp Thing, a giant humanoid/plant creature with superhuman strength.

This folded 1 Sheet poster is in excellent original C9 condition. The only discernible issue with the poster is the color loss along the fold lines, which is minimal. The poster is in, otherwise, near-mint condition. Linen Backing is available for an additional $80 upon request or by adding the service to your cart below. This would produce a flat, backed poster that’s ready to display! Retouching the color along the fold lines is optional but included in the service.
