The Wiz, 1978 . Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 89 x 135 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Diana Ross, Michael Jackson and Lena Horne together with an all-star African American cast. Directed by Sidney Lumet this fantasy musical adventure movie was a flop at the box office but soon became a cult classic. Based on the book and much beloved 1939 all “white” version, this became as much a social commentary on the state of race relations in America and an attempt to reimagine the Land of Oz in a different light.
