Starring Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr and Jack Haley. Directed by Victor Fleming, produced by Meryn LeRoy, lyrics by E. Y. Harburg, and music by Harold Arlen. “Let’s go over the rainbow with Judy in her greatest hit!” Based on the novel by L. Frank Baum. After a tornado whisks Dorothy and her little dog, Toto, away to the magical land of Oz, they must travel to the Emerald City to convince the Wizard of Oz to send them home. Along the way they encounter a scarecrow with no brains, a tin man with no heart, a cowardly lion, and wicked witch.
The Wizard of Oz is a classic in every sense of the word. Throughout the years, it remains magical and retains all of it’s original enchantment. A rare opportunity to obtain an original of this highly desirable poster.
This folded poster is in very good C8 condition with very bright colors and no stains, although the fold lines are still faintly visible. Minor fold line separation on the uppermost vertical fold line and some crinkling along the bottom left and bottom right side edge of the poster. Green ink smear across the “D” in “Garland”.
