The poster features a sailor blowing his bugle into the American Flag. For information apply recruiting station or Navy League. Scarce Women’s service poster. This poster was printed using stone lithography and has bright colors and in excellent condition. This poster is also found with a different inscription “War Clouds Gather…” and was printed at the outset of the US involvement in the World War one.
This poster was in excellent C9 condition prior to linen backing. Very slight dime sized retouching evident in the yellow storm clouds.
