HALLOWEEN, 1978. Original One Sheet (27 x 41”), (89 x 125 cm) originally folded and now linen backed movie poster starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasence, Nancy Kyes and directed by John Carpenter who was also the author. This is widely considered to be the first film to start a popular resurgence of the horror genre and really set the standard for the next two decades. Well acted but with a small budget this was also the breakout role for Jamie Lee Curtis. “The night He came home”. There are variants of this poster with different colored ratings boxes, namely black or green or to some eyes blue-green. This poster has the blue-green ratings box which represents the earlier print run of this poster. As supplies ran out the additional posters were printed with the black ratings box.
This poster was originally folded with some creasing throughout and some toning along the margin, but has since been linen backed and is in very good condition.
