CALIFORNIA, 1946. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 40”) (89 x 131 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Ray Milland and Barbara Stanwyck and directed by John Farrow. Set during the late 1840s, this film weaves together the historical hysteria of the California Gold Rush with a dramatic political backdrop focusing on California’s turbulent journey toward U.S. statehood. It is highly notable for its lavish production value, featuring striking cinematography by Ray Rennahan and a memorable musical score composed by Victor Young.
