Anonymous artist, this poster clearly depicts the growth in the wounded warrior following the end of World War 1. “The Army of the disabled keeps growing”. In Hospitals under government care the Red Cross is spending Ten Million Dollars a Year to help the ex-service man and his family. Annual Roll Call – Nov 11-24-1921

This seldom seen poster is in fair C6 condition and has been deacidified and mounted on linen. The left and right margins are severely worn and ragged but otherwise the image is clean with good colors.
