This comedic western spoof movie features Cleavon Little as the first black sheriff of a town that has been scheduled to be demolished and replaced by a railroad. Mel Brooks gives this movie a burlesque spin to the classic Western Hollywood movie genre in his own manic way. Some of this movie’s sequences have become comedy classics, such as the gaseous bean dinner around the campfire scene. “or never give a saga an even break!”
