BLAZING SADDLES, 1974. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Cleavon Little, Gene Wilder and Slim Pickens; written and directed by Mel Brooks. This comedic western spoof movie features Cleavon Little as the first black sheriff of a town that has been scheduled to be demolished and replaced by a railroad. Mel Brooks gives this movie a burlesque spin to the classic Western Hollywood movie genre in his own manic way. Some of this movie’s sequences have become comedy classics, such as the gaseous bean dinner around the campfire scene. “or never give a saga an even break!”
This folded poster is in fairly good original condition, but does have a few conditional remarks: normal color loss along the fold lines, fold separation at the margins, wrinkling at bottom of poster, and a small chip missing from center bottom fold.
