Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Sci-Fi Movie Poster starring Edwin Nelson, Joanna Lee and Alana Frost; Directed by Bruno Vesota; and originally adapted from Robert A. Heinlein’s novel the Puppet Masters without permission. When a mysterious alien cone structure is found obtruding from the earth in Riverdale, Illinois, a group of investigators from Washington, D.C. are sent to determine what it is and where it came from. It is discovered that various townspeople have been murdered or disappeared, including the mayor; but when they reappear, it is as if they are under some sort of mind control. The aliens are hideous, insect-like parasites that attach themselves to human hosts to control them, but no one knows why they are here or what they want. One of the classic images from the horror fantasy vaults of the 50’s. “Crawling, slimy things terror-bent on destroying the world!”
This poster is folded and in remarkably fine original condition. Two very minor tears exist on the bottom margin. The bright neon font and graphic elements will stand out even more if customer opts to Linen Back this poster.
