Original linen-backed (23 x 38”), (76 x 125 cm) travel poster advertising for Cathay Pacific Airways and their revolutionary Convair 880 jet, noted as being the “Fastest Jet in the Orient”. This poster beautifully depicts the bustling streets and markets of Hong Kong, and was designed to entice the Western world to fly Cathay Pacific’s new plane model. The Convair 880 first flew in 1959, and was heavily commercialized in the 60’s.
This poster is in very good C8 condition. Poster has linen backed in house and ready to frame.
