The film starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Earl Jones and director John Milius. The film was directed by the infamous director John Milius. A true mans – man he was responsible for some of the most important war films of our time and films that just oozed macho. Now the artwork is special because Frank Frazetta originally illustrated for the novel and was the first time the artwork had been blown up for for the upcoming film. This poster was produced in early production stages back in 1980 and begins hyping up fans with “Coming Soon! A Major Motion Picture” written at the bottom. The poster was produced by Dino De Laurentis.
This special teaser poster for Conan the Barbarian was folded prior to linen backing and has had the fold lines lightly retouched with color. A small triangular piece of paper was added to the top right corner. Ready to Frame.
