DANGER STREET, 1947. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Film Noir Mystery Movie Poster starring Jane Withers and Robert Lowery; Directed by Lew Landers. In this American mystery film, a magazine reporter/photographer takes some pictures of a gambling ring and barely escapes with her life. The publisher of the magazine decides to sell the publication and the staff gets the money together to buy it. The same reporter stumbles upon a murder when she tries to get pictures of a society debutante and must now try to identify the killer and get the pictures she needs. “Warning! Street closed for murder…proceed at your own risk!”
This folded poster is in fairly good C7 condition with the following conditional remarks: Minor color loss along fold lines, leftover tape in all 4 corners and top/bottom center, paper loss/rip in top center fold line at margin, and pin holes in all 4 corners. Although the tape will be difficult, it can be removed and remedied nearly unnoticeable, along with other quality issues, if customer opts to Linen Back.
