HEART OF THE ROCKIES, 1951. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Roy Rodgers, with Penny Edwards and Gordon Jones. In this Western, Rogers, his horse Trigger and dog Bullet oversee a highway construction project that turns into trouble when they begin a section of the highway that crosses a rancher’s range. This rancher acquired his property illegally, so he tries to stop the construction in order to prevent discovery of this crime.
This poster was originally folded in good condition with slight fold wear and a small piece at the top right corner was missing. Also note small drip stain in bottom right corner and slight bleed through near the ‘E’ in ‘Rockies’. The poster has been linen backed and all of these concerns are now less noticeable.
