INVADERS FROM MARS, 1953. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 89 x 135 cm) Movie Poster starring Helena Carter, Arthur Franz and Jimmy Hunt. Produced and directed by William Cameron Menzies this 50’s sci-fi, horror, cult classic movie has it all with Martians landing on earth in flying saucers and taking mind control of humans. This movie was in the vanguard of early sci-fi movies of the decade and was released just weeks before the War of the Worlds and the first of the genre to be in color.
This poster is in excellent condition and has been expertly linen backed and restored (though not by us). The photo above shows the poster in a frame which is not included with the sale.
