JAILHOUSE ROCK, 1957. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 89 x 135 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Elvis Presley, Judy Tyler, and Mickey Shaughnessy. Directed by Richard Thorpe, and produced by Pandro S. Berman. “Elvis Presley at his Greatest” Hot-headed bad boy, Vince Everett, finds fame and fortune as a rock star after serving a short sentence in prison for manslaughter. Jailhouse Rock is one of Elvis’ best films, and in 2004, it was selected for preservation in the Nation Film Registry. The title dance sequence, choreographed by Elvis himself, is regarded as the precursor for the music videos as we know them today.
CONDITION C8. This is poster is in very good condition with vivid colors, and prominently features ‘The King’, himself. A must-have for any Elvis fan. There are pinholes along the top edge of the poster, at the left-hand side of the top horizontal fold line, at the left and right-hand sides of the center horizontal old lines, the right-hand side of the bottom horizontal fold line, at the corners of the bottom edge of the poster.
