JOIN! American Red Cross Poster, 1930’s. Original American Red Cross Poster (20 x 30” / 66 x 98 cm). Designed by R.C. Kauffmann, this poster for the American Red Cross depicts a nurse with a flooding disaster background behind her, presumably the Mississippi floods of 1927. The poster is accompanied by the caption, “Join, American Red Cross”.
This poster is excellent C8 condition after having been linen-backed. The poster has been flattened to remove fold lines, and retouched to restore color and condition in the margins. Some minor signs of age, but this poster is ready to frame!
