KAR-MI SELMA, Original Vintage Linen-Backed Magic Poster

Kar-Mi Selma, 1914. This original one-sheet magic poster measures 28″ x 41″ (92 x 135 cm) and was originally rolled, but has now been linen-backed. This poster depicts an incredible act of illusion by renowned magician and burlesque entertainer and self described Prince of India “Kar-Mi” . Kar-Mi was an exotic a stage name used by the American performer Joseph Hallworth (1872–1956). In this act he manipulates and restores the body of the spirit “SELMA”. The crowd looks on in disbelief and horror. “Performing the most startling mystery of all India.”

This poster is in very good C8 condition with very vibrant colors and cool graphics. Chips in the bottom left and top right corners, and some staining on bottom right corner of poster. This poster is linen backed and ready to frame!
