KISMET, 1944. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Ronald Coleman, Marlene Dietrich and Edward Arnold; Directed by William Dieterle this Arabian Nights fantasy features Dietrich as a harem queen who ends up falling in love with Coleman and rides into the desert on horseback at the end of the movie. While not as successful as some of her other movies the film is perhaps best remembered for her dancing where she reportedly had four coats of gold pain added to her legs to add sensuality..
This folded poster is in fairly good C7 condition, but does have two chips of missing paper on the upper right margin and top left corner. Some light loss of color along the fold lines. We recommend linen backing this poster for an additional $80. We will replace the missing paper during linen backing and de-acidify and clean the poster at that time.
