LIQUORE DEL RENO, 1909. Original French Litho Advertisement Poster (15 x 22” / 48 x 72 cm) originally rolled and now linen backed. Designed by Italian artist Remo Branca (1897-1988) – a printmaker, engraver and painter of national and international reputation as a journalist, writer, and art critic.
This poster showcases a woman dressed in a navy dress and tights enjoying Liquore Del Reno while sitting on a couch at an Italian lounge. The poster reads “Liquore Del Reno. Specialita Della. Premiata Ditta. Giulio Tartarini. Pieve di Cento (Ferrara)” and “Grand Prix Medaglia D’oro Esposizione Firenze 1909”. This roughly translates in English to “Liquor Reno. Of Specialties, Award Winning, Julius Tartarini, Parish of Cento (Ferrara) and “Grand Prix Gold Medal Exposure Florence 1909”. Would look awesome in your bar or kitchen.
Originally rolled, this poster was in fine C9 condition prior to linen backing with very minimal wear along margins. This poster is in excellent condition for being over 100 years old!
Condition C9. Sold $325 Linen Backed
