Lone Star 1952 Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 56 x 71 cm) Clark Gable Western movie theater poster starring; Clark Gable, Ava Gardner, Broderick Crawford and director Vincent Sherman. “The Battle for Texas and the Battle of the Sexes!” This original western movie was the last time Lionel Barymore appeared on the silver screen. The movie is about the Republic of Texas and how it became part of the USA. Whats really cool is it uses historical reference.
This good condition western movie theater poster has wear and a 1/2″ hole along the cross folds. some of the other horizontal folds show some wear and there is a small tear on the bottom horizontal fold line on the left side. Thereare a few stains along the borders and none of these issues cant be fixed during the linen backing process. We expect after the stains are removed and the cross fold repaired the condition grading to jump to c7.
