This particular version is the rarest and most sought after version that was released in Australia as Mad Max 2. It was a massive hit! So much so, they released it in the Us. Because the first was released to a limited number of theaters, distributors decided to not confuse audiences so they changed the name from Mad Max 2, to THE ROAD WARRIOR. This is a fantastic film and probably the best poster ever made for these quintessential post apocalyptic movies!
This particular poster has vibrant colors and almost no damage to the artwork, however, there is some water damage, 6 pieces of scotch tape at the top and 6 at the bottom margins. There is a 1 inch tear at the bottom margin and very slight fading along 2 fold lines. All the tape can be removed with some simple Restoration and the tear will vanish following linen backing.
