Directed by Robert Wise and based on France’s Guy De Maupassant’s story of a ruthless Prussian soldier set during the Franco-Prussian war. Simone Simon plays a simple but beautiful and fiercely patriotic passenger in a stagecoach. Her upper class passengers offer her up to “satisfy” and the Prussian soldier, whose nickname is Mademoiselle Fifi. A rare poster and a great image of this French movie icon.
