THE ROSE TATTOO, 1955. Original 1 Sheet (27 x 41” / 69 x 104 cm) folded Movie Poster starring Burt Lancaster and Anna Magnani; Directed by Daniel Mann; Produced by Hal Wallis. Based on Tennessee Williams’ original play, the Rose Tattoo follows the life of a Southern Widow who falls in love with a handsome Italian truck driver after she learns of her diseased husband’s affair with another woman.
This folded poster is in fairly good original C7 condition, but does have some minor imperfections to mention: please notice the paper loss along some margins due to improper mount removal (top center, left near top, and bottom near center), pin holes in all 4 corners, margin edge wear, and a small tear 1-2″ vertical tear has occurred at center cross-fold. Fortunately, all of the above issues are easily remedied nearly invisible during our linen backing process.
