Some Like it Hot is a hilarious comedy with an all star cast developed by the incomparable talents of Billy Wilder. Struggling musicians Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis witness a murder in Chicago and quickly escape on a train disguised as women in an all female jazz band. Marilyn Monroe is the sexy star and the gags just keep on coming.
Belgian posters are among the most colorful and artistically beautiful in movie poster collecting world. What they lack in size are more than made up by their artwork. For those with limited space this format is ideal. Like their US cousin the Window Card they usually have a white space at the top to provide show times and location of the movie and like Window Cards this space is often cut away. Quite often there is a tax stamp and/or a snipe placed over the poster.

This poster has a single centre fold line but has been laying flat for a long time. There is some slight color loss on Marilyn’s blue dress and there is some creasing in the attached snipe which is stuck on the top of the poster. This poster would look great once linen backed for an additional $40, We will re-position the snipe so there is no wrinkling. Alternately we can remove the snipe at the customers request. We linen back and frame all of our posters IN HOUSE at our studio in Katy, TX!
