Also known as the Kilian or Foil poster. Movie posters printed using this technique are rare and highly sought after. While this poster is not for the original release, but celebrates the first ten years and anniversary of the first star wars film; it bears the epic tag line ” A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…” also seen on the Style B Teaser and is thus highly sought after. Typically a silver mylar print begins with the silver paper and is then put to print with whatever image is chosen.
This particular original 1 sheet Star Wars movie theater poster celebrating the first ten years and anniversary is for sale and is in mint condition. Any defects that appear to be scattered throughout the photo are in fact aberrations of the photo and lighting set-up. Photographing silver mylar is difficult to do.
