Original Advance Logo Foil Xmas style 1-sheet (27 x 41″) movie poster for sale starring; Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Gene Hackman, director Richard Donner and creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. An Academy Award winner for visual effects these silver foil posters are the most sought after posters for Superman and in general these kinds of posters are also the most delicate. Foil posters actually have a thin layer of metal on the surface which is highly sensitive to damage and wrinkling. There are four different Foil posters for Superman the Logo Xmas style (this poster) a “no logo Xmas style”, a “no logo Coming Soon style” and a 4th “Logo with blue writing Xmas style”.
This particular Logo Xmas style Foil movie poster is in very good to fine condition but does show extensive signs of wrinkling. As mentioned before this is not an unusual way for these kinds of posters to wear. The fold lines are in fine condition and there are no tears or holes on this poster. The wear is focused around the wrinkling.
