THAT HAGEN GIRL, Original Shirley Temple, Ronald Reagan Movie Poster

THAT HAGEN GIRL, 1942. Original One Sheet (27 x 41”), (89 x 125 cm) originally folded and now linen backed movie poster starring Shirley Temple. Ronald Reagan, and Rory Calhoun. Directed by Peter Godfrey and written by Charles Hoffman. “Haunted by the whispers of an indiscretion she was too innocent to understand!” Shirley Temple plays Mary, a young woman teased her whole life sue to vile rumors of being an illegitimate child of a local socialite and former boyfriend, Tom Bates, played by Ronald Reagan. Bates returns to town, and is shocked at the accusations.  His conflicted feelings soon blossom into love for Mary. The movie ends with the pair boarding a train together, seemingly on their way to be wed.

Almost all prints of the film mysteriously disappeared from various film storage facilities and television stations as Ronald Reagan was on the rise as a politcal figure.

This poster is in good original C7 formerly folded and now linen backed condition with very bright colors, although the fold lines are faintly visible.
