THE MUSIC MAN, 1962. Original vintage folded Argentinian 1 Sheet (28 x 42” / 92 x 138 cm) movie theater poster starring Robert Preston, Shirley Jones, and Buddy Hackett. Directed and produced by Morton DaCosta, and based on the 1957 Broadway musical of the same name by Meredith Willson. Harold Hill is a traveling salesman who sets his sights on River City, Iowa to pull off his next big con. He poses as a travelling band instructor with a mission to help troubled youth by convincing the town to completely fund a new marching band including all the bells and whistles. His conscious starts to get the better of him after he falls in love with the only person to see through his ploy.

This folded insert poster is in very good original C8 condition, but there is some creasing along the edges of the poster, two pinholes along the top edge, and one on the left side above the first horizontal fold line. There is not any notable color loss along the fold lines. Linen Backing is available for an additional $80 upon request or by adding the service to your cart below.
