Original vintage 1 Sheet (27″41″) “Awards” style Musical movie theater poster for sale and starring, Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Eleanor Parker director Robert Wise and writers George Hurdalek and Howard Lindsay. 5 time Oscar award winning musical, this epic romance was based in wartime Austria in the 1930s. It is acclaimed, it is loved, it is cherished and an utterly timeless classic. This particular poster is an original re-release that was used following the awards given to the film at the Oscars that year.
This original musical poster is in fine condition but does exhibit some minor imperfections. There are pin holes, the margins have light wear and there are several unobvious gouges 1 to the left of Rodgers, 1 to the right of Hammerstein, 1 to the left of Andrews arm and 1 to the left of plummers head. The rest of this poster is immaculate, like new including the fold lines.
