This Island Earth, 1955. Original US Window Card (14 x 22” / 46 x 72 cm) rolled Movie Poster starring Jeff Morrow, Faith Domergue, and Rex Reason, and directed by Joseph M. Newman. When a mysterious man contacts engineer Cal Meacham and his assistant Joe Wilson, both men quickly realize that something is strange about his behavior and the behavior of other local scientists, and before long, they find themselves in the middle of an alien war. “Trapped amid the mysteries of outer space they challenged the unearthly furies of a planet gone mad!”
Window Card is in very good condition relative to age. Minor tears and a missing chip rip in bottom right corner, stains towards top of poster, but strong colors and snipe still clearly visible and bold. Window Cards are printed on heavy stock paper and are purposefully printed with a white space above the image which is designed to contain the location of the movie theater and the show times. They were often used at nearby businesses.
